Jamboo /Feren ( Allium Stracheyi)

A very popular in Uttarakhand as a condiment, flavoring agent in “dals’ and
‘soups’.

How to use

  • Take a small amount of Jamboo, crush it by using palms.
  • Put small quantity of cooking oil in the pan and heat it to normal.
  • Add Jamboo to the oil and fry till light brown.
  • Put the fried Jamboo in the dal.
