Raita

Another mouth watering preparation, which is consumed either as snacks or
supplement with meals. Besides it improves the digestion process too.

Ingredients (serves two)

  • Grated Cucumber- 100 gm
  • Curd- 150 gm
  • Mustard Oil- tea spoon
  • Chilly- 2 pinch
  • Turmeric Powder- 2 pinch
  • Black Pepper Powder- 2 pinch
  • Salt- to taste
  • Black Salt – 2-3 pinch
  • Rye- 1 1/2 table spoon

Preparation

  • Take grated cucumber and squeeze to remove excess water.
  • Take fresh curd and stir it to make fine paste.
  • Now add chilly, small quantity of turmeric powder, black pepper
    powder, salt, black salt, mustard oil and grounded rye. Mix it
    thoroughly.
  • Finally add grated cucumber and keep it in a cool chamber.
  • Before serving, garnish with some leaves of fresh coriander
