Dehradun to Yamunotri
You have to reach the government helipad on Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, the start and end point of this trip. The scheduled timings of the flights are specified in advance. Pilots and ground staff of the helicopter service company brief passengers about what to expect on the trip, during the flight, off-ground and other required information. The flight leaves for Kharsali. On arrival at Kharsali, you can proceed to the Yamunotri temple, which is just 5 km away, on a palanquin. After visiting the temple, you will return to Kharsali and stay the night there.
Kharsali to Gangotri
After breakfast, you will proceed to Harsil by helicopter. After landing, you can visit the Gangotri temple, which is 25 km by road and takes about 45 minutes by a taxi. After offering your prayers at the temple, you will return to Harsil by road. Explore Harsil in the evening and return to your hotel and rest.
Gangotri to Kedarnath
After breakfast, the helicopter will fly you to Phata helipad, from where the chopper is changed to proceed for Kedarnath. The Kedarnath temple is just 30 minutes from the helipad and the walk will be for about 15 minutes. After offering your prayers at the temple, you will fly to Guptkashi for the night.
Guptkashi to Badrinath
After breakfast, the chopper will fly you to Badrinath. From the Badrinath helipad, you can either choose to check into your hotel, freshen-up and then visit the temple or proceed to the temple for prayers directly. In the evening, explore the Badrinath town and retire to your hotel for the night.
Badrinath to Dehradun
At 4 in the morning, get ready to witness the Maha Abhishek of Lord Badrinarayan, which is a divinely sublime ritual. Return to your hotel, enjoy your breakfast and fly towards Dehradun.
