Trekking
Bhimtal offers several trekking and hiking trails. Go for a two-km hike to Hidimba Parvat and explore the lush green landscape of surrounding areas. You can trek to a ridge viewing point nearby from where the Sattal lake is partially visible.
Camping
Just 30 minutes away from Bhimtal is the small village of Padampuri, a very popular camping site. Surrounded by forests, teeming with a variety of flora and fauna and with the Kala river flowing by, a variety of camping options are available here.
